Some stuffs are quite cheesy, but some other are super exciting, so I hope to finish ticking every boxes of my list before going back to Europe. Check the list out there: South East Asia Madness.
I finally managed to reach my goal, I had more than a dozen of massages and now I almost feel bored while having a massage (but pain prevent boredom). A dozen for less than 50 bucks, (for that price I would have had 20 minutes of massage in London lol).

Just a quick post to present a B&W picture I took 3 weeks ago. It was during a festival held in Vientiane for the end of the rainy season (I really have to write something about this as well, because I took part in a crazy boat race and it was a fantastic experience).

During my first day at the MRC, I met two interns, Emma and Rachel and since then we have been spending quite a lot of time wandering around downtown. After my first day of work, they took me to the Bor Pen Nyang, a rooftop bar quite popular for its breathtaking view over the Mekong river. I was told not to miss the sunset on the Mekong, with such a place, it’s hard not to notice it. Sweet!

In London, you can see cabs everywhere, but in Vientiane there is very few cabs, they have been replaced by Tuk-Tuks. They are waiting at every corner of a street (sometimes sleeping in their hammock in the back of their bike), but always ready to bring you everywhere in town.
My first Tuk-Tuk, I took it in Bangkok, and it was pretty scary to be honest. Traffic in Bangkok isn’t really going to keep you relax, it’s more a kind of organized perpetual disorder and every two minutes you wonder how the driver managed to a avoid a disaster! Still, I was brave enough to take pictures while he was driving me back to my guest house and I am quite happy with the result.

Well, I know I haven’t been blogging for a while, but work is keeping me busy and my blog has been left on the side. I am not in London anymore, I finished my degree at Imperial College and went straight to Vientiane, capital city of Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR for the experts and Laos for the common people). I am working on a short term mission for the Mekong River Commission. It’s quite hard work, but Vientiane is a peaceful place to be and I’m every moment I spend there. I’m working in hell of a building, in front of the Mekong river with a stunning view (with an amazing sunset you would die for, pretty much everyday). My office is situated on the left wing of the top floor:

And the view from my personal office is exactly this one:

At the moment, I’m quite crazy about powncing, there is a very nice team sending messages and surprisingly the french powncers are very active. I was quite busy working lately and I spent way too much time on Facebook, so I almost forgot about the Yoshindustry. I should find my normal rythm shortly (to tell you my travel adventures and post some nice pictures).
Following the invite from Little Girl to a French blog chain “Where are you blogging?”, I post a picture of my room, which happened to be the place where I blog (well, pownce to be more exact).

And because it is a blog chain, I am asking Anett, Neil, Barbara and Davy to show us where they are blogging. Quick, quick!
(by the way, I still got 11 invites for Pownce, so let me know if ever you are interested)
